Chapters
This page is the table of contents for Tale Haven — not a feed, not an algorithmic sort. Each tale is a single file, written offline and posted when the sentences settle. Dates reflect when the observation occurred, not when the html was saved. Start anywhere; the porch does not require sequence.

The home page holds a separate memory from November 2025 — dinner in Kampong Bahru with Chin Swee Road in view. It is not listed again here because it lives as the threshold piece. Future chapters will append to this list when I have something worth the ink.
How to read: there is no comment thread beneath these entries. If a sentence prompts a response, email is the appropriate channel. I do not rank tales by popularity because I do not measure popularity. The dates in the margin are observational anchors — morning kopi, canal dawn, rain shelter, afternoon curtain, market closing — ordinary hours where Singapore reveals itself without spectacle.
Each file name follows tale-01 through tale-05 for stable links. Retitling happens inside the headline, not in the url. When I add tale-06, this list will grow downward. Until then, five is enough for a season.

If you arrived from a search engine looking for news, turn back to the porch statement: personal notes only. If you arrived for slow prose about buses and stalls and curtains, choose a chapter and read at kitchen-table pace. That is the only instruction.
